The BBC has highlighted a project coordinated by the Global Crop Diversity Trust to collect and catalogue seeds from across the globe. The aim is to help secure future food supplies and enhance resilience to climate change through collection and storage of crop wild relatives.  
Kew, the Millennium Seed Bank at London's Royal Botanic Gardens, estimates that CWR contribute to commercial agriculture with more than $100 billion per year. Kew is playing a key role in this new project. Read more>>  [1]
